Project Title
Hemp Do[MI]no
A new vision of building. BIOmat's 100% natural and recyclable bricks with excellent hot/cold insulation performance fit together like dominoes to create shapes and volumes of different heights from which hemp plants come to life.
The installation aims to imagine the skyline of a conscious, sustainable, carbon-neutral city made from plant materials, where Matter and Nature become one.
Design Variations 2024 aims to enhance and restore Milan's architectural heritage to the city through design and architecture.

The design firm Park Associati asked itself a question when creating the layouts for the Garage exhibition space:
is it correct to design a temporary setup with materials that will be immediately disposed of at the end of the installation?
The answer to this question fits perfectly with the vision of BIOMat, which was founded with the goal of offering sustainable building solutions that do not harm the environment, but improve it.
